Lisa Edelstein was born May 21, 1967 in Boston, Massachusettes to her Jewish parents, Alvin and Bonnie Edelstein. Her hometown, though is Wayne, New Jersey. Her father is a doctor. She has a brother and a sister. She is one of the Jewish actresses who rock. I don't know of any other ones... STOCKARD CHANNING!!!! Okay, anyways.....
Lisa began her professional career while studying theatre at NYU. Sweet. The role? Co-host of a failed MTv show, "Awake on the Wild Side". Of course she went on to bigger and better things. She even authored, composed and performed an AIDS production (one of the first, cuz that's how Lisa rolls), "Positive Me". She has had minor (and major) roles in movies with accomplished actors such as Jack Nicholson, Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy. She's also been on almost every hit primetime show in the USA. Sweet.
